Amoskeag Sound Seeks Performers for 2025 Season

Amoskeag Sound is a new all-age music and performing arts ensemble based in Manchester, NH. We are currently seeking performers of all ages (14 and up) and all sections: winds*, percussion (battery and front ensemble), and color guard.

In 2025, Amoskeag Sound will perform as a member of Drum Corps International's SoundSport® program. SoundSport provides performance opportunities for musical ensembles of all types, ages, and sizes at DCI events and other community events.

We are also looking for individuals interested in performing in parades, including the honor guard (American flag) section as well as additional musicians and color guard performers.

As an all-age ensemble, members range from 14** years old up through retirement age. While some members have performed previously—with other drum corps, including DCI Open and World Class drum and bugle corps, and with college and high school marching bands—Amoskeag Sound is dedicated to providing music, color guard, and performance instruction to all interested in music and the performing arts.

We offer the opportunity to learn or improve your marching, music, and performance abilities. We currently provide most instruments and equipment as well as instruction, uniforms, and transportation for performances outside the Manchester, NH area.

You will spend time around some really nice people with similar interest and love of music and get to experience the excitement of performing in a group in front of adoring fans!

*Amoskeag Sound primarily uses brass instruments but is open to ALL musicians. Please contact us for more information.

**Members under the age of 14 are eligible to march in parades and may perform in shows as determined on a case-by-case basis.

****Certain positions, such as drum major or positions in sections where instrumentation is limited or for balance, may require an audition for placement.
