Meet Amoskeag Sound: Manchester’s Newest Performing Arts Ensemble

Amoskeag Sound is a new music and performing arts ensemble based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Named in honor of the city’s rich mill heritage, Amoskeag Sound is set to perform in 2025 as part of SoundSport®, a Drum Corps International program that brings together diverse music ensembles to celebrate creativity, community, and musical excellence.

In addition to performing at SoundSport events, Amoskeag Sound will also perform at various community and regional gatherings, connecting with audiences beyond the SoundSport stage. With a roster of performers of all ages and musical backgrounds, Amoskeag Sound offers high-energy shows and an engaging musical experience that will resonate throughout New England.

Amoskeag Sound is a performing entity of M-Powered Music and Performing Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization based in Manchester, New Hampshire. The organization aims to unite people with an interest in learning or broadening their knowledge in music and performing arts.

Grounded in the principles of trust, accountability, and dedication, our mission is to open doors to exceptional music and performing arts experiences for members of our community.

Through various music-focused groups, we provide opportunities to understand the discipline and benefits of music education while promoting good citizenship and engendering a lifelong appreciation for music and performing arts.
